Case study · Loop Earplugs

Taking a global brand systeminto three local markets

Loop's brand team sets the look: the Kinetic collage, the type and the product imagery. My job, freelancing with Pandan Social as one of two designers, was to carry that system into every rollout for Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines. That meant new formats, local moments, performance variants and display sizes, all staying true to the guidelines.

The Challenge

  1. A strong look, set globally

Loop's brand team supplied the Kinetic art direction and assets. Everything made locally had to sit seamlessly beside the global work.

  2. Local audiences, local moments

Each market had its own calendar and culture, from festival season to Philippine Independence Day and Father's Day.

  3. Volume at speed

Launches, sales, performance ads and display all ran at once, each needing many sizes and test variants on tight timelines.

The Solution

  1. Know the system, then flex it

I worked inside the guidelines (type, badge, collage textures, product renders) and adapted layouts so the look held up in every format, from 9:16 stories to 970×90 leaderboards.

  2. Localise the message, keep the look

Local headlines and moments went into the global framework, so each post felt timely for its market and still unmistakably Loop.

  3. Build from the brief, built to test

Performance work followed structured briefs (idea, copy, product, format) and shipped as A/B variants in square and story sizes, plus a full display set.

Outcomes

The work, piece by piece

01

Rolling out the Kinetic launch

Local moments in a global look

The same assets carried into moments that mattered locally, from festival season ("Hear the music, not the mayhem") to Philippine Independence Day ("Freedom sounds better with Loop earplugs") and Father's Day.

Performance and display

For the 6.6 sale, every brief became A/B statics, carousels and video in square and story sizes, with headlines tested against each other and a "Which pair is for you?" product finder. A travel campaign ran across the full display set, each layout rebuilt to fit, from leaderboards to squares.
